ABOUT THIS PAINTING
This was a very popular scene for Chilliwack residents, photographers and artists. Located on Prest Road in Chilliwack near the hillside to Promontory, I watched this barn get torn down by hand, piece by piece. There’s always some mystery that rests with an old barn, especially one this weathered. You imagine all the life that surrounded it in the years it stood and served. It's nice to know all that beautiful wood was salvaged, and I’m glad I could preserve it in my own way.
