ABOUT THIS PAINTING
This piece traces back to a hike up the backside of Dragon Mountain in the Cariboo region of BC. Tucked away in the high, flower-filled sub-alpine fields, we stumbled upon the weathered remains of an settlement. Between the scattered log cabins and barns sat this lone sauna hut—a scene so serene and beautiful it made me want to leave everything behind and live off the land.
The featured flowers here are Lupines, Daisies and bright red Indian Paintbrushes.
