ABOUT THIS PAINTING
I’ve decided to add an old Ford to my vintage car collection and I couldn’t have found a better one to paint! The green on green backdrop was a challenge I couldn’t resist and I found the hint of fall colors just the perfect touch.
I always wonder the history of any abandoned vehicle as I have stumbled across many throughout numerous hikes, with some questions of....why there?? This one was near the Sandpiper golf course in the Fraser Valley and I learned it was a work horse on the golf course before it was left to retire. The forest is slowly reclaiming it's space as I found out a tree has fallen over it. I'm glad I got to see it in all it's rusted and dented glory!
