ABOUT THIS PAINTING
It’s obvious I’m drawn to old rusty trucks and this one was took me back to the prairies where I grew up. I composed the painting with the horizontal direction to embrace the prairie's big skies and fields that go on forever. Looking back has a double meaning with not just the old truck representing older times, but the truck is looking into the past facing an old grain elevator in the distance.
